PHILIPPE COLLOMBEL

Co-Managing Partner, Partech Ventures

Philippe Collombel is the co-managing Partner of Partech Partners.

He joined the firm in 2001 and bought it in 2008 with his business partner, Jean-Marc Patouillaud.  Since then, Partech Partners has become one of the largest European VC firms with offices in San Francisco, Berlin and Paris.

In addition to his responsibilities as managing partner, Philippe continues to be an investment partner in the early stage fund of Partech Partners.

Philippe currently serves on the Board of several high profiles start-ups in various industries including Compte-Nickel, Kantox and Lendix in the fintech space.

He started his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) where he participated in several major initiatives such as the launching of the strategic services division in Europe or the launching of the e-business practice in Western Europe.

Philippe subsequently joined Carrefour to manage the innovation and Internet initiatives of Carrefour. He was the General Manager of the subsidiary @carrefour.

He is a graduate of Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and has an exec. MBA from the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University). He also holds a Master in economics and Bachelor in law.
