Joining Calibrate in July 2015, Remy focuses on direct investments into early-stage, high-growth startups and leading entrepreneurs, with a validated proof-of concept and business model.
The £25m fund’s portfolio covers a range of sectors with a particular emphasis on FinTech where the firm’s partners have valuable experience and a wealth of value-added relationships.
Calibrate also looks for opportunities in traditional sectors prime for innovation and increased efficiency, such as real estate and regulation among others.
Remy sits on the boards of Crossflow Payments, pensionsync, LEIA 3D and Add-Mind. Before joining Calibrate he worked as a trader at Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan and Bear Stearns.
He holds a BA in economics from the American University of Beirut and an Msc in financial mathematics from Cass Business School.
