New industry leaders join FinTech Investor Forum

FinTech Investor forum is announcing two more of the industry’s most-experienced thought leaders as speakers.

Joining investors from the likes of Northzone, Balderton Capital and BlackFin, as well as CEOs and founders from London’s most-disruptive startups, these new speakers bring a wealth of experience and insider knowledge to this high-level event.

NICOLE ANDERSON

CEO, FinTech Circle Innovate

A FinTech founder, Nicole Anderson is CEO and co-founder of FinTech Circle Innovate an ‘innovation-as-a-service’ startup for the wealth and asset management industry, linking innovation gaps to ecosystem solutions in the world of WealthTech.

With a deep industry capability in financial technology markets across payments, wholesale banking, forex and wealth management, Nicole is active in the London and European start-up acceleration and incubation scene, working as an advisor and mentor to Level39, StartupBootcamp FinTech, London Tech Advocates and is a founding member of FINTECH Circle Angel Network.

She was voted among the Top 100 Women in FinTech by Innovate Finance and included in the Power Women of FinTech 2015.

Nicole is also contributing author to the The FinTech Book, exploring the role of corporate venture as a catalyst for innovation in FinTech.

TIM LEVENE

Managing Partner, Augmentum Capital

Founding Augmentum Capital in 2009 Tim Levene focuses on finding entrepreneurs who have businesses that are disruptive technologically and reinvigorate markets that are lacking in fresh innovation.

The fund invests in Series A and B rounds and counts RIT Capital and Lord Rothschild among its backers. Its portfolio includes leading UK FinTech companies such as Borro, Zopa.com and Seedrs.

Prior to founding Augmentum Tim launched Flutter.com, which raised more than $24m in funding from Index Ventures and Benchmark, before merging with Betfair.com in 2001. Tim then led the merged company’s internationalisation efforts across Asia, Europe and the rest of the world and moved to Hong Kong in 2004.

Tim was made a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2012. He also advises The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry on digital strategy and innovation.
