Oxford Capital Partners has led a $1.75m round in savings and investment app Moneybox.
The new round also featured participation from existing investors Samos Investments as well as by some high-profile individuals.
Just six months ago, the London-based startup raised $3m in seed funding.
Moneybox says its enables users to round up the digital spare change from everyday card transactions and invest it into three tracker funds within a Stocks & Shares ISA.
A private beta version of the app will be released in the next few weeks, with a full public launch expected in August.
Oxford partner Tom Bradley said, “Moneybox has created something disruptive in what is a large and conservative industry that has previously overlooked younger people.
“We look forward to working with Ben, Charlie and the team to help build a company that can revolutionise how people save and invest for their future.”
