Chrome Federal Credit Union (formerly Washington Community Credit Union) has become the first known taker of the SmartCore core banking system supplied by Nymbus. Pennsylvania-based Chrome FCU is a small entity with 18,000 members. It plans to reach $500 million in assets by 2020 and is “in the process of transforming its business to a digital-first credit union”, according to Nymbus. The vendor says its solutions “will enable Chrome to deliver compelling, modern digital services – from secure online and mobile banking, to rapid digital on-boarding, lending, and remote deposit capture”.
