Prashanth Koppula

Prashanth Koppula is General Partner and Managing Director at Athamus Venture Management, a specialized fund manager focused on investing in the Indian real estate market with an integrated model of both fund management and real estate development.

Prashanth is an experienced entrepreneur having founded and successfully grown technology and real estate development ventures. Prior to joining Athamus, Prashanth founded Shasta and invested in developing over 3 million square feet of land in and around Bangalore. Apart from leading fund management at Shasta, he also held operational responsibility for land acquisition, approvals, construction development, legal, finance, marketing and sales. Prashanth was also a founding team member at Dgraph, a US based seed funded database startup, where he was the COO.

Prashanth is also an award winning technology thought leader and has headed search, advertising and security software products at Google, Yahoo, and Voltage (HP). Prashanth graduated with a MS in Computer Science from Stanford University, a MS in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University, and a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay.
