Johan Reynaert

Johan Reynaert is a Senior Investment Manager at Brussels-based PMV, which has EUR 1.2 assets under management on its own balance sheet and for third parties. He focuses mainly on equity investments in energy and infrastructure assets and companies. He is a senior member of the PMV advisory team to the European Projects Investment Company, a second generation energy and infrastructure equity fund with a pan-european focus. He holds several key decision positions in energy and infrastructure related entities.

Prior to joining PMV he was an investment manager at the European Investment Fund, largely considered the largest LP in venture funds in Europe. Since 2007 he is involved in direct equity investments in the energy and materials sector, first at Gimv and later on at Capricorn Ventures as part of the pan-european Cleantech team.

He served as a speaker on several international conferences focusing on innovation in the energy sector. Johan holds an MBA from Insead in Paris and Singapore, and has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Leuven, Belgium.
