Catherine Lloyd

Catherine is a Principal at Mercer Alternatives based in London. She joined Mercer in 2019 and is responsible for providing coverage of the Infra- structure sector in Europe. Her role encompasses sourcing, analysing and monitoring investment opportunities in the sector on behalf of Mercer’s clients.

Prior to joining Mercer Catherine worked for EISER Infrastructure Partners where she undertook due diligence, negotiated docu- mentation and represented the fund on the Board of investments made by the EISER global infrastructure fund. She was also sen- ior adviser and provider of transaction execution services to a government funded Sub-Saharan Africa renewable energy fund. She began her career with Westpac Banking Corporation in Aus- tralia before moving to ABN AMRO Bank NV where she held vari- ous roles in risk management in Sydney, Amsterdam and London including responsibility for the infrastructure product globally. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Australian Na- tional University and is a CPA.
