Michael Smart

Michael is a member of the infrastructure and real assets team. Prior to joining Stepstone, he was a Director in KPMG’s Infrastructure Advisory Group, where he led the Energy Transition Strategy team.

Michael was previously at National Grid in a variety of roles across operations, strategy, investor relations and M&A.

He holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
