Linden Capital eyes up to $4.5bn for latest flagship healthcare fundraise

0

Healthcare investor Linden Capital is upping the stakes for its latest flagship fundraise, with eyes on up to $4.5bn for the vehicle.

Hitting that total, which was revealed in a US securities filing, would see Linden Capital Partners VI come in 50% larger than the $3bn Fund V it closed at the end of 2021.

That vehicle was oversubscribed above its hard cap. It is not clear from the SEC filing if the Fund VI total is target or hard cap figure.

Linden, which was launched in 2004, focuses on mid-market healthcare investments across services, products, and distribution.

The firm has grown to about $8bn of assets under management, and has invested $5bn over the past 20 years.

Earlier this year Linden sold a passive, minority stake in itself to Blue Owl‘s GP Strategic Capital platform and Lunate Capital via a joint venture.

Placement agents for the Fund VI raised are PJT Partners and Magenta Capital Services.
