Nigel Cook

Nigel manages Croydon Council’s Local Government Pension Scheme Fund and its Treasury team.  He has long been interested in developing pension fund investment networks across London which, over the last decade, have grown alongside the National LGPS Framework and the London CIV.  The Croydon Fund has adopted an innovative approach to investment, an approach that has seen steady incremental growth and protected the finances of the Council.

Nigel has worked in local government throughout his career in a number of roles dating back to 1986.  He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.
