Maheep Jain

Maheep is an Investment Director in the infrastructure equity team at CDC Group where he has executed and managed a number of investments across Africa and South Asia, which include acquisition of majority stake in the largest Africa focussed power generation platform, investment in and successful exit from one of the largest renewable energy player in India and set-up of a pan South Asia renewable energy IPP.

Before joining CDC, he was with CWC in London where he executed a number of energy and clean-tech transactions in Western Europe. Prior to this, he was with Bechtel in Houston where he worked on project development and execution of large scale oil and gas projects in North America, Africa and Asia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati and an MBA from London Business School.
