James Brooks

James Brooks is the Chief Strategy Officer at Lightsource BP, based in the London. He joined Lightsource in 2016 where his responsibilities include leading Lightsource BP’s corporate development, equity fundraising, and overall oversight of international operations.

James has over 18 years’ experience in energy investment leadership roles at Advent International, First Reserve and most recently as co-head of Energy Investment in EMEA for Goldman Sachs MBD (formerly PIA).
